The research network comprises various institutions from the university and non-university research landscape in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

A total of eight partners and one associate partner from the University of Rostock, the Rostock University Medical Center, the Hochschule Neubrandenburg - University of Applied Sciences, the University of Greifswald and the Research Institute for Farm Animal Biology in Dummerstorf have joined forces to form a research network for the Alg4Nut project.

The project offers young researchers excellent opportunities to:

  • conduct research within the framework of PhD and postdoctoral positions,
  • network across disciplines with other team members and scientists,
  • participate in further training through the graduate academies of the partner institutions,
  • gain initial laboratory experience through bachelor’s and master’s theses.
